Pure White Tea is purely loose leaf white tea from Darjeeling. To allow the tea drinker to experience the subtleties of the flavour and the delicate nature of white tea, we have left the leaf to itself.

White tea is comprised of the young leaves before they are fully open and the buds that are still covered in fine white hair which are simply dried following the initial steaming to interrupt the fermentation. There is minimal processing when compared to the green and black teas and the harvest is an intricate feat of deliberate selection of the young leaves and buds, delicately plucked.

White tea is much more expensive and generally appreciated by the tea connoisseurs of the household. It also has the lowest amount of caffeine of the all the teas and highest antioxidant properties.
